Hello blog! How's life? Well, I'm gonna continue review about Restaurant/Cafe/Snacks in Bandung later, kay? I just got into a deep conversation (again) with my friend and now its about, Mentality. Nah, we don't discuss that earlier but we do have some point on it so, I'll write this on the blog.
Okay, Mentality. Some says
"Act like your age", but I would say
"I don't know how to act like my age, because I never been this old before". HAHAHAHA
Seriously.
What that quote means just to remember us, that we will (I will) turn into 20 next year. Then, I find something interesting in my Timeline.
"In 2016, I don't mind if life's getting harder, but I do mind if I still lack of everything."
Yup, in 20, what you have done? What achievement that you have in your quarter in life? (well, I assume if we live until 80). Me, I feel like I'm not achieving much. Even I've won some piano/electone competition, mostly I'm just second or third, not number one. I still left behind to my friends in the Academy.
I think, it's the time for us to make a change. Improve any skills that you have or add more skills. It's the reason why I started to play guitar and drive a car :3
For you who lazy, remember. When you're just laying in the bed, there's someone who working hard for their project. Really, I do lazy sometimes, but I don't let it consume me for a long time. Like, in a holiday, at least I should have a productive activity (like learning new song, make a project, make a film, or else) and not just being lazy in bed for the whole time.
Okay, that's not what I've discuss with my friend tho. We discuss that college student in different campus have a different mentality. Like this,
What would you do if you given a task by your lecturer to build a business with a group of 5 and you should open a booth in Mall in the next 3 months? The revenue that you make in this project will determine your score.
First, maybe you will do it half heart (oke, setengah hati maksudnya gue gatau englishnya apa :") and think "Yang penting gue udah bikin bisnisnya". Sadly, I founded that when I visited some mall. Hey, my campus wouldn't willing their student to open a booth in mall for free, you have that occasion but why don't you working hard for it?
Banyak memang yang buka dengan dagangan yang bagus-bagus, for example my friend who sell bags that have a high quality product. You know, It's really worth it to sell in a booth like this.
But some, like this.
"Pesen __ satu ya"
"Oke"
*dibikinin*
(nanya ke temennya) "Eh, tadi dia pesen apa?"
"Pesen ___"
(nanya lagi) "Eh yang mesen mana?"
Okay, maybe because it's their first or because it's not their passion to sell food like that :") Cukup disayangkan pemirsa.
Padahal itu adalah great opportunity for us to open a business, not all campus provide their student a booth like that you know.
Then my friend just like,
"there's the mentality, they're not ready yet for open a business, still raw."
Yup, I agree. Kalo misalnya lo yang belom kepikiran apa-apa buat bisnis dan udah disuruh bikin bisnis sama dosen lu (disuruh buka booth pula) pasti bakal jadi beban, iya kan? I think what their campus aim is good, but not all student ready yet and there's some student that would like to be a professional not a busssinessman
Second, do it with all your passion. I've heard a story in other campus from my friend that in their thesis, they should open a business. For example, they are 100 student, the top 30 will be the leader and the rest should APPLY to them. Kasian ya yang engga keterima. But really, you don't choose people randomly if you want to open a business right? :p contohnya gue yang buka bisnis sama temen karna dah percaya luar dalem hihihi
They are force to form a mental as a bussinessman. For the rest, they are force to work hard so they can graduate on time. It really good I think.
Last, what I hate is those college student who beg for score to the lecturers. Really. Menurut gue itu sama sekali not ready in mentality for the college life. You get what you have worked. Rajin? You get high score. Males-malesan? You get what you get. What annoy me the most if when there are many student who fail in a class, some would say "Just report to the administration, they can make us pass the subject". Ugh, inilah mental orang indonesia juga. You know that you are wrong, but you beg for justice for your mistakes. Really.
Well, for the conclusion (halah kayak apaan aja), our mentality should change now because we're not children anymore who
beg for everything. We should work hard to get what we want. No one whould help you if you don't have a quality personality. (dibahas lagi)
