Hello blog! How's life? Whoaa I've been so productive in past weeks and barely even play games in weekends even though now is holiday, I don't know its the right or bad thing to do haha! Anyway, I'm surprised about this year's post because I've been productive updating this blog. Its rare, really. I'm not used to talk about something-not-so-important but lately I have some stories or review (or something-kind of-important-but-not-really).

Anyway, I want to review now because when I look at the photos.......I WANT TO GET BACK THEN.

Here we go,

Two Hands Full - Bandungall day breakfastAddress : Jalan Sukajadi No. 198 A, Pasteur, Sukajadi, Bandung Jawa Barat.

Okay, first impression, this is restaurant and cafe that served Brunch (Breakfast + Lunch), Western food and Coffee. Nothing impressive, huh? But we'll see.

First come in to the restaurant, the smell from the coffee machine makes me want to order their coffee, ASAP. You don't smell the coffees like that in other Coffee Shop, even Starbucks. I love the interior, a blend of woods and dominated in grey & brown. It's cozy. It really is. I wish I lived in Bandung so that I can do my task here.

Okay! So what we've ordered? Of course I'm a coffee person so I ordered Hot Cappucino (Coffee tastes great in hot water) and Owen ordered Long Mac. Then, we ordered Big Breeky and Smashed Avocado.

First, the drinks :
1. Hot Cappucino (IDR 29.000)

the price is standard, but not like other Cappucino, it served in a glass not cup. Anyway It's tasty and I love the Cappucino in here. Not too much milk, but It just enough milk which is I like it.

2. Long Mac (IDR 35.000)

Actually, It's a different version of Hot Cappucino only with two shots of espresso and I surprised that it served in cup while tha Cappucino in glass hahaha! (Yeah, it matters)

I REALLY LOVE THIS COFFEE MORE THAN THE HOT CAPPUCINO

It's strong, but the espresso is not too concentrated even though It's two shots maybe because there's milk in there. This is my new benchmark of the best Coffee ever.

I always looked a coffee like this in other coffee shop but there are none unless you ordered Hot Cappucino with extra shots hahaha. I really recommend this for the coffee person.

Now the food : surprisingly, the portion is huge even though there are only two menu, but enough for five person lol. Even me, I don't think I can finish that alone, but for the Smashed Avocado I would like to eat that alone :") and you see that in the photo  below, below the Big Breeky (on the right) there is a brown sugar. Even the brown sugar is tasty. My friend whom not a Coffee person, she ate that along with the coffee 1 teaspoon everytime she drink!

1. Big Breeky (IDR 55.000)

Well, there are sausages, eggs, mushrooms, some kind vegetables-which-i-dont-know-what-that-is and.......bacon which is I don't eat bacon and pork so I ordered so that the bacon was separate.

But my friends who eat that said the bacon is really delicious. Even that's the tasties bacon they've tried in their life (Its true!). They want to go back to Two hands full just for the bacon hahaha!

 I love the eggs, Its so soft. Yummy. It tastes great but I kinda confused when I eat that. Maybe it really should have be "Two Hands Full" so that you eat that like a sandwhich so that you can taste all the ingredients in one bite. But I love it anyway.

2. Smashed Avocado (IDR 50.000)

OMG THIS IS MY FAVORITE MENU. Okay, maybe you'll confused by the name. But actually It was a bread with smoked salmon and avocado along with the lime, beetroot, and poached eggs.
You know what I love in this menu?

 I LOVE EVERYTHING

Even I'm not a big fan of beetroot and  avocadobut I ate it anyway because they're all tasty when you eat that all at once. I really LOVE the poached egg, really really really.

BUT THE SMOKED SALMON NAILED IT! 

I really wanna go back there to eat that smoked salmon again!

So, overall maybe we know why this place's called two hands full because when you eat sandwhich, you eat with both hands, right? Really worth it spend you brunch here along with your friends or alone just doing task maybe. This place's really cozy. Unfortunately the place's kinda small for a cafe.

She met him through her friends, lets call him White (It really his name). White ask her if She can tutor his friends whom a senior in her campus. He said that he took 2 repeat courses in this semester (for her, It's 6th term but for him, It's 12th!!). Well, because the repeat courses that he wants to tutor is the subjects that she mastered (and its basic subjects anyway) so she said she will tutor him to White so that he can give her contacts to him.

At first, he said that he wants to tutor once a week for one subject but hey, she don't have many time at that time because some organization activities so she said that if he wants to tutor once a week, than she will arrange the time of tutor that both can spare some time.

She hates people who need her help but "needing". For example, her friend in last semester wants her help for passing some subjects by tutor to her. BUT she only wants to take the cheapest package which is only tutor for 2 hours. You know, how can she tutor her only for 2 hours for a whole class in the semester?! She must be really diligent, crazy, or stingy. She can't guarentee if she can pass the subjects if she only learned in 2 hours anyway. Meh, impossible.

Anyway back to story, at first he really "needing" like her friend but lately She knows what the reason is. She told him that she can't guarentee that he will pass if he don't learn by himself after he tutor with me but suprisingly he really have the spirit to pass the subjects, not just pass, but good grades. So, he willing to took the pay-for-hour package and yeah, he is the main source of financial for her this semester.

Then, they took the first tutor and he told me that he once a brat and he realized that he's wasting his time by repeat the course. Even, he is repeating 4 courses in this semester! HA! He's sad that his friends began to graduate or do KTA but he is, now, tutor, for passing the courses. Anyway, he said that the system for repeating course in campus is hard because not enough lecturer to open a new class for repeated course. So, he took the chance now when the repeated course is open a class in this semester.

They tutor every week except when she has some activity to do, but she love his spirits to learn. She only see the spirits on him, even from my friends whom She has tutored. They only want to pass and don't think about grades, but not to him. He always asked her wether she could tutor him on thursday, friday, or saturday. Whoa She never have any students that a hard worker to even pass the courses, and well yeah good grades.

So, in tutor, It's not like any tutor who you only listen to the material, but do the homework, make a presentation, or even do the take-home quiz. I think she's not even a tutor, but a mentor.

Then, they often met in tutor and not only about the subjects that they talked about. But she curious how he can realize to serious in his study. So, here's his story :

He always busy in his business, really. He really an expert on this. He told her that he get the capital from his father and uncle to make a business. You know, in Confucian Family they always teach their kids to do business since they're little kids. He always teached by his father and uncle to open a business but only dare to do it when he is in university. So, what business?

He once have a Cows business. Well, yeah, Cows. Don't you know what he do? So! He told her that he buy the cow when It's mature but skinny, the land for cows, and the land for plants to grow for Cow's meal. So, what's the gain that he had? His capital gain was when the cow's weight increase per kilos and he have the gains from that.

Confuse? Okay at first she confused too. For example, you have cow which weight 20kg, then he maintain the Cow everyday. Everyday, the cow's weight increase about 3-5kg and every kilos that the cow's have will be paid for 75.000 IDR. So in this example, if the cow's weight increase 5 kg, then he earned 75.000 x 5 = 375.000 IDR EVERY DAY. Yup, Everyday.

But he said that he don't do that business for so long because the land is far from here so he can't control the Cows from here. Then he told her another business, It's ant business and he wants to start it once he finished the courses in this term. Yup, ant business.

So, he told her that ant's egg per kilos, worth IDR 300.000. OMG WHATS THE PURPOSE OF THAT ANT'S EGG THAT ITS WORTH SO EXPENSIVE?! He said that it's for bird's meal. Okay, mevvah. So, the singer bird (?) only eat ant's egg so the sound from the birds is good. It doesnt make sense but it exist such a business. He told her how he want to build the ant's nest in his house, from the jar that he give the sugar on it until a cabinet so that the ant can move freely.

And then, he told her how he play invest in shares and he learn from it. Well, she really interested about invest-thingy so It really an interesting topic to discuss. He once said that he have GGRM (Gudang Garam) when Its cheap and he can have a capital gain only in a few months and he proud that he sold the GGRM's shares before the shares decline HAHAHA! Okay, he's not from Finance, but he is the evidence that Investment is not learn from text-books, but from trial and error.

Okay, so that the story when he makes the capital gain, now the capital loss. After success in equity market, he moved to money market which is riskier than equity market. You know, if you invest 1 Million, you can either have 5 Million in 5 minutes or minus 1 Million in 5 minutes. It's a gambling. So, he curious about that "5 Million in 5 minutes" so he invest about 3 Million one at a time and you know what? He loss. All the 3 million just dissapear and never come back. Not like equity market, he can't wait until the price goes up.

But now, he realized that he must finished his schools now to open a business like that. So he really serious about taking the course and tutor for this semester. Even now, he has the highest score in all subject in this term now. Whoa, surprise, huh? Yeah, the brat who always out when taking class and only come for an attendance, now has the highest score? Impossible yes, but its possible if you work hard. Anyway, its not only him who learn the courses from her, but its her who learn the "outside world" from him. How the business looked like, how to plan a business, or how to invest in equity/money market, how to choose the best securities, and anything.

Moral of the story :
People changed. Either to the good or bad side it's just a matter of time to make them realized if they should change now to be a better person. There always a good side in people that you can learn from them.

Hello blog! How's life? It's been a long time since I've post something here. Well, I've been busy preparing for UTS, tutor, PHBC, Sport awards, and so on. But now I want to share my trip to malang last April (when it's 5th term holiday yayy).

I would like to review my most favorite cafe first,

Here it is, Akalpa Cafe located near Dieng and Toga Mas (My most favorite bookstore because they're cheap HAHAHAHA). First the interior. I LOVE THE INTERIOR. It's like cafe's in the street (?) tapi lebih berasa kayak cafe di dalam Museum Angkut and cozy. Cocok banget sama suasana malang yang lagi panas-panasnya.

Okay! So ada menu apa aja disini? Just like other cafes, they served coffee, minuman-minuman lucu, and voila! Sweets.

I'm not a big fan of sweets malah cenderung engga suka makanan manis. But when there's a Chocolate Ice Cream in the menu, whoaahhh I WANT THAATTTTT. Cocok banget sama suasana Malang yang lagi panas-panasnya.

Yummy! Waffles and Chocholate Ice Cream with honey sauce and fruits (Approximately IDR 30.000 - 40.000). 

Menurut gue itu saos yang dipinggiran (?) Cokelat dan strawberry cuma hiasan aja yang kalo ada juri masterchef udah disuruh apus itu dekorasi karna I don't really tastes that sauce except the honey sauce. Yang rada sedih adalah, itu buah nya sedikit banget hiks emang cuma dekorasi kayaknya.

Dan gue adalah salah satu pembenci whipped cream dan pas liat, i don't expect the whipped cream would be that much! Yah, jadi gue singkirin aja itu whipped cream, maafkan :")

But! The waffles is crunchy outside and soft inside which is

THATS THE WAY I WANT MY WAFFLES SERVED

Yap Waffles nya enak banget dan honey sauce nya berasa honey nya, Es krim cokelat nya mah ga usah dikomenin lah ya, ALL ICE CREAM IS YUMMY.

That crumble hum.....I kinda confused when i ate that, it gave the texture but not really work but i think its okay, yummy kok kayak biskuit yg di crumb and i think its more fit (or suitable?) with the ice cream instead waffles.

Overall, I Love this waffles and I want to eat that again sometime when I visit Malang. Even though I'm not a big fan of sweets, but waffles x Ice Cream is a must desert that I want to eat again.

Hello blog! How's life? Long time no post because I have hectic schedule now for this 6th term. While PHBC is approching, semuanya butuh diurus ini-itu arrgghh!

First, Happy Wedding Freddy! Ini awal mula alasan gue ke Bandung sehari sebelum kondangan karna dia nikahannya di Karawang (yep, ga kurang jauh?) dan ceritanya mau makan cantik yang padahal masih banyak tugas numpul Analisis Laporan Keuangan sama Management Strategic, CIS!

I don't took photos from the outside of the restaurant because it was raining and........I'm just lazy HAHAHAHA

Nah! Now food's review!

I ordered Oyakodon (Rp 35.000), in the description it had like chicken (I think it's more like yakiniku chicken?), shitake mushroom, and scrambled egg. First Impression gue adalah ini mirip sama Chicken Katsu Ju-nya Sushi Te* but minus Chicken Katsu. Bentuknya begini :

Hmm tampilannya menarik and that black weed (?) looks yummy with much Shitake Mushroom.
BUT IN REALITY, the shitake mushrom is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE THAN THE CHICKEN. Gue berasa makan nasi jamur dan first impression gue hancur seketika. Rasanya? Idk gue sih kurang menikmati sampai gue nambahin kecap asin karna rasanya "yakiniku banget" yang gue bingung cara jelasinnya gimana. Tapi kalo itu beda-beda orang lah ya, cuma ada harga ada mutu, ini salah satu makanan murah di Takigawa jadi yah.......yasudahlahya ga bisa dibandingin sama Chicken Katsu Ju karna jelas beda jauh (I vote for Chicken Katsu Ju btw).

Then, we ordered (Gue, Miki, Putri) sushi! Yak, makan di restoran Jepang tapi ga makan sushi kayak makan sol**ia di Bandung #apasih (yang jelas intinya sia-sia ke bandung kalo makannya itu-itu doang, oke lupakan). We ordered Takigawa Roll (Rp 90.000 for regular portion), First Impression gue adalah sushi dengan limpahan salmon didalamnya dengan cheese yang melted yang gue bayangin sushi yang dipesan reni di Sushi Naga dulu pas SMA. So! Dipesanlah itu dan karena Takigawa Roll adalah salah satu chef recommended so I've no bad impression for this. Begini bentuknya:

OKAY, UNTUK HARGA 90 RIBU GUE GA RELA DUIT GUE (walaupun bagi 3) DIPAKE UNTUK SUSHI YANG SEKECIL INI AARRGGHH GA PUAS!

Okay, gue masih positive thinking mungkin emang kecil tapi langsung meledak pas dimakan, BUT! No! Rasanya biasa aja dan salmonnya sedikit (mungkin karna ukurannya kecil) dan yang pasti, ga worth it aja lu keluar 90 ribu untuk porsi sekecil ini karna lu ga akan puas, kalo dibandingkan dengan restoran sushi lain, gue lebih memilih untuk beli Unagi Roll di restoran sushi murah daripada ini dengan harga yang sama.

Kecewa, lagi.

Review gue untuk ini 1/5 CIS! Because I don't enjoy this at all. I'm Sorry.

Okay, so she ordered Fish and Chips (Rp 50.000+ Comfort food nya dia) and you know what she said?

"Tepung fish nya kayak gue lagi makan cireng"

Well, memang kalo diliat warna nya not golden brown like we used to know but it's more pale (MUCH PALE) It's even looks like the fish is undercooked. Keliatan kayak baru dicemplung, 10 detik, diangkat. Untuk chips nya sih standard, tapi fish nya big dissapointed sih.

Nah, she ordered Spagetthi Aglio Olio (Rp 48.000) and Meat Salad (Rp 30.000+), Mr memang ga doyan makanan pedas dan Aglio Olio nya itu pedes, banget. Kayak yang gue makan di the Cafetaria, Malang.

Untuk meat saladnya, menurut dia oke kok karna Meat nya di grill dan itu yummy banget.

Okay, mereka pesen Spagetthi Tuna Carbonara (Rp 48.000). Nah yang ini nih, pertama piring di taro di meja yang keliatan :

Beneran deh, it looks like spaggethi aglio olio without salt, tuna, pepper, and spice. Bener-bener itu spagetthi tuna carbonara, yang dipiring yang keliatan cuma Spagetthi nya aja yang lain gatau deh ilang. The texture is meh, because its too dry and less seasoning sampai-sampai mereka nambahin salt and pepper yang banyak biar ada rasa (Walaupun rasanya kayak makan spagetthi doang gitu).

Dari semuanya, makanan dia yang paling bener, dia pesen paket (yang gue rada lupa) Steak with Mushroom Sauce and pasta (Rp 90.000+) yang rasa mushroom saucenya oke but the pasta was dissapointing.

Okay, conclusions! Makanannya menurut gue kurang enak (atau mungkin yang kita pesen emang yang ga enak) dan memang restoran ini menjual view, bukan difokusin ke makanannya. So, jangan berharap tinggi-tinggi kalo mau makan disini, I recommend you don't have to ordered the menu I've reviewed (but if you dare, hah sudahlah).
